Self-motivated and versatile in your approach to responsibilities, this role will see you working from the initial ‘client kick off meetings’ and project brief before creating well-designed and thought-out UX that will form the basis of the project. You will be confident in highlighting your ideas through regularly scheduled internal and client meetings, where ideas and constructive criticisms are always invited and encouraged. Comfortable in working alongside the design team you will be the bridge between UI design and technical implementation. This role requires you to be comfortable working under pressure and will see you playing an important role in defining the way a project looks, as well as how it is to be used from a user’s point of view.

Aside from the UX/UI element to the role we are ideally looking for someone who can turn their hand to WordPress and even Craft CMS. This is not essential, however, having an interest in developing your skills is a must.

  • Ability to code with accessibility and SEO in mind
  • Fluent in HTML5 / CSS3 (SASS) / Javascript
  • Working knowledge in Javascript Frameworks such as jQuery

  • Experience with a front-end framework such as Bootstrap/Foundation/SemanticUI
  • Competent in Adobe Photoshop, Sketch or another leading design package with experiencing designing websites from scratch
  • Experience in other coding platforms and Content Management Systems especially SASS-based Shopify or similar
  • Can introduce new processes to the agency
  • Knowledge of ReactJS would be awesome
  • Knowledge of C# (or Swift) for iOS App Development would be awesome

  • A team player
  • Have sense of humour
  • A person that thrives to be the best and has drive
  • A creative thinker
  • Ability to work outside the box, learning new things and working within roles that are outside of your usual responsibilities

If you can say yes to all the above…In return, we can offer…

  • Salary is £25-30k, alternatively if you're worth more, let us know why
  • Developer day per month
  • Remote working days (or, if you're not local - let's work out a remote working plan)
