Miles & Barr Estate Agent Concepts

Website

Website concepts presented to the directors at Miles & Barr as part of our pitch for the new Miles & Barr website. We were one of 4 agencies invited to pitch. The brief was to capture all the necessary user's interest and reflect this in a winning design.
These are just our concepts. On this occasion we came a close runner up, however, we were particularly proud of our concepts so we wanted to showcase what we do even if we don't win the pitch this time round.

If you are an estate agent who thinks we could help you, please do get in touch. We have gained valuble insights to estate agency and what your website users want.

User Experience

User Experience

When planning the layout for the concepts our aim was to make it "for the user" as much as possible, answer their queries, make it easy to view properties, find out about the local area, house valuations and booking a viewing. What you want from an estate agent site really!

As Miles & Barr have several brands we suggested a 'white out' logo so the website doesn't descriminate users or the other sub brands.

You can view our concepts working. This will give you an idea on how they would have worked if they were through to build. This is how we work with all websites - You get to see your designs working as a website - well, as close as possible.

Do you notice the nice subtle touches? Linking up the hobbies of the staff so you can relate to people. F1 fan for instance... People buy from people.

Quick open to view properties, browse pictures, quick link to the next property or save to your favourites - it helps to make the user experience easier for the user.

You can also remove from your search results so you no longer need to see that property if you have also discounted it.

The idea here was to iunclude as many images as possible so the user can see an overall view of the property, they can in turn view each image larger. You can control the images by a carousel or a slider as many call it.

All the information is here when you are looking to buy a house, even of the local areas, schools etc.
