Red Apple Thinking

Branding

Red Apple Thinking contacted Angle to assist in the brand creation for a new leadership and team development business.

Brief:

We were tasked to create an easily memorable and recognisable brand and an intuitive website.

Project Description:

Red Apple Thinking found us by searching 'web design Kent' - that was a good start! Following our initial briefing meeting we conducted some initial research through competitor analysis before creating moodboards as part of our presentation. We walked Red Apple through our presentation, progressed to concepts, design development and finally producing the final logos. We produced brand guidelines so we, or anyone else could build on these foundations for future material and website presence.

With the new shiny brand agreed we set to on the new website, following our own guidelines we designed a new website. As Red Apple are located just down the road in Eastry, Kent it made it easy for us to meet and keep the project on track.

As part of our presentation we looked into all kinds of research, imagery and ideas that promote teamwork, progression, working together and growth that would translate to the target audience.

From our competitor research we quickly built up a picture as to the direction we wanted to take with the Red Apple Thinking brand; ensuring a clean, direct and conveying the right message.

Understanding a brand's identity (who, what, why) is paramount so the research undertaken was important - no matter how big the business is it is a necessity! Working to brand guidelines from the beginning is crucial to ensure consistency, accuracy and tone of voice.

Colour Palettes

Colour Palettes

Great thought was given to the colour palette. We also listened to Red Apple as to what they were considering. We wanted to ensure the colours conveyed, professional, efficient, inspiring integrity, successful and memorable.

Red was the obvious choice and it was agreed that an earthy and solid red was best-suited to the brand's integrity, values and meaning.

Brand Concepts, Development and website

Brand Concepts, Development and website

Away we go! We presented a number of concepts (a small section to the left) and then worked with our client to hone and develop the shortlisted logos to the final masterpiece!

We shortlisted our favourite logos with a rationale for each one explaining our reasons. This allowed the client to join us on the journey of their brand... evolving into something they will take forward and build upon.

The Red Apple Thinking website is now live and can be found http://redapplethinking.co.uk
