Originally invited by Sir Roger Manwood's School to pitch for their annual magazine, Angle have now become the school’s agency of choice for the next 3 years.
To design and print an annual magazine that upholds the long-term tradition of the school, in addition to building a fresh new website.
The school’s magazine goes out to all prospective and current students. Sir Roger Manwood's School wanted to maintain traditional values but give us the opportunity to add our own creative flair.
The new website, their previous one in need of a fresh pair of eyes and ideas, was originally a separate project. The school had strong ideas on how they wanted the website to look, and on the back of the magazine work, we were invited to tender. We won! With their strong guidance, we were able to work together to create a website they are now very proud of.
The Sir Roger Manwood's School magazine, The Manwoodian, is a testament to the considerable efforts and achievements by pupils and staff for the previous academic year. The school are understandably proud of their magazine and Angle were delighted to be given the opportunity to work on a project with such heritage.
Working closely with the school, we established a simple, creative layout and through our thorough and accurate work we have now produced three editions.
Sir Roger Manwood's School had very clear ideas on how they wanted their new website to look. We worked closely with the school on researching similar schools across the country and together we developed an idea of how the website should function.
Once the wireframes were agreed, we started work on bringing the project to life. Following the school’s brand, we quickly came up with concept visuals and a style Sir Roger Manwood's School were happy with. Although all of our initial designs allow for evolution, in this case, we were thrilled to be able to hit the nail on the head early.
Behind every good website is a good content management system (CMS). Sir Roger Manwood's School were very clear that they wanted to be able to add and manage content quickly and in the simplest way possible; without a 200-page user manual. We were able to apply the agreed design to a simple CMS perfectly suited to the school’s needs. This allowed the school to update their content as often as they wanted and keep visitors informed and engaged.
